Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator

Estimate mining revenue, electricity cost, pool fee impact, net profit, and hardware payback using miner hashrate, power draw, coin price, network hashrate, block reward, and uptime assumptions.

Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator

Use this free crypto mining profitability calculator to estimate daily, monthly, and yearly mining profit from your rig's hashrate, power draw, electricity rate, pool fee, uptime, and network assumptions. It works for ASIC or GPU scenarios where you want a quick view of mining revenue, operating cost, and hardware payback. Compare the result with the Crypto Profit Calculator, the ROI Calculator, the Break-Even Calculator, or the wider Financial Calculators category.

Update the mining inputs, choose a network preset if useful, and click Calculate to estimate net mining profit and hardware payback under the current assumptions.

What this mining calculator measures

This calculator focuses on operational mining economics rather than simple coin price speculation. It estimates how much of the network your rig controls, how many blocks the network finds each day, the coins your share could generate, and what remains after pool fees and electricity costs.

That makes it useful for comparing ASIC models, testing electricity-rate scenarios, or deciding whether a rig can justify its upfront cost. If you want to compare mined-coin value after buying and selling rather than running hardware, continue into the Crypto Profit Calculator or ROI Calculator.

How this calculator works

The model first converts your miner hashrate and the network hashrate into the same unit, then estimates your adjusted share of network hash power after applying the uptime assumption. It multiplies that share by the expected number of blocks found per day and the block reward to estimate daily coin output.

Daily coin output is then translated into gross revenue with the current coin price. From there the calculator subtracts the mining pool fee and the power bill based on watts, hours per day, and electricity rate. If a hardware cost is entered, the tool also estimates payback time and a simple annual ROI.

Worked example

The default example models a 200 TH/s Bitcoin ASIC running at 3500 watts, paying $0.08 per kWh, with a 2% pool fee and 98% uptime against the current network assumptions.

This example is intentionally simple: it assumes stable network hashrate, stable coin price, and constant operating conditions. In practice, miners should rerun the numbers whenever difficulty, price, or electricity costs change.

Frequently asked questions

A crypto mining profitability calculator estimates how much revenue and profit a mining rig may generate from its share of a network's total hashrate. This version uses miner hashrate, network hashrate, block reward, block time, coin price, electricity cost, pool fee, and uptime to project daily, monthly, and yearly results.
